Info: 1/72 diecast, prebuilt and prepainted armored vehicles.
Odin is a new line of armored vehicles coming out in February/March 2012.
They are produced by IST Models (pronounced "east") which is associated with IXO.
We spoke directly to the manufacturer and were told these models will be made of
metal die cast with some plastic parts. The quality and attention to detail will be the same
as IXO and IST Models. The models will come mounted to a textured plastic base with an acrylic
display case, inside a "Odin by IST Models" carton box.
On a side note, these models at least initially are from the same toolings as
Altaya/DeAgostini, so are not new in that sense. However as the manufacturer has stated,
these will be of a better quality and more along the lines of what you would expect from IXO.
