The Combat Tanks Collection is available through subscription or local newsstands
and released biweekly. The subscription service offers an incentive over newsstands by
including special gifts like the Sd.Kfz.9 Famo with trailer. Each issue includes a 1/72 scale model
enclosed in a plastic display case and an 8 1/2" x 11" magazine. Each magazine includes articles
on the history, organization, tactics and technological developments of tanks, as well as specific details on the
featured model. The collection includes armored vehicles from WWII to present day and from
several different countries.
The Combat Tanks Collection has been released under different publishing companies including De Agostini
and Altaya. Altaya became part of De Agostini in 1999, so they are one in the same.
